The Southport Open Exhibition is one of the 12 BPE exhibitions, and acceptances count towards the BPE Crown Awards. It is the only BPE exhibition in the north of England which offers prints as well as slides and digital images. If you would like entry forms for the other BPE Exhibitions, please send three stamped self-addressed envelopes (9inx6in) to Marion Thompson, Kintra, 79 Belfry Drive, Wollaston, Stourbridge DY8 3SE and they will be sent to you at appropriate times throughout the year.

MEMBERS’ EXHIBITION
The Members’ Exhibition is held in conjunction with the Open Exhibition, and the selected prints will also be displayed at the Atkinson Art Gallery. It is a competitive exhibition and is selected by the same selectors on the same days as for the Open. Members are allowed to enter up to three prints and up to three slides in either the ‘A’ League or the ‘B’ League, as appropriate. They can also enter three images into the digital section, but here the ‘A’ and ‘B’ leagues are not differentiated. Images which have previously been accepted either for the Members’ or the Open exhibitions are not eligible, and no image may be entered in more than one section.
