We are a competitive society and have 4 rounds in our Championship print & slide
Competitions and have 'set subject' competitions for; Landscape, Portrait,
Documentary, Natural History, Chosen Subject ('Proverbs')
and a Theme Panel (set of 3 prints or slides on any theme) competitions.
Our competition secretary is Mr. A. G. Williams CPAGB.

The President is very pleased to announce that Council have elected Vincent Hey
as an Honorary Life Member of Southport Photographic Society, as a token of the
Society's esteem and gratitude for everything he has contributed over many years
as Hon. Secretary. Everyone in the Society and our many friends will be delighted
by this well deserved honour.
