SPS HALL of FAME
'The
Lowry Bridge at Dusk'
by Tony Foster LDPS
.
Taken in March 2001at the Lowry
bridge at Salford Quays in Manchester.
It was taken with a Fuji finepix 4900z
digital camera in fine mode with an
original file size of 12.4 meg. Only work
done in photoshop was cropping, slight
contrast adjustment and burning in of
lights to tone them down.
Colours are as the camera 'saw them'.
It came first in Steves digicams digital
photo of the day and then first
in What
digital Camera holiday photo competition,
where it won a trip to Paris on Eurostar
and a two night stay in a 3* hotel for
2 people, plus a £500 HP digital camera.
It is currently in 2 other comps
awaiting judging.
(It
has just won the Beginners Tropy
in the Disabled Photographers
Exhibition, 2001)
